One time I bought 50 beef sandwiches for the City of Chicago. SPOILER ALERT: It was not enough to go around.
During the financial crisis, Mr. Beef couldn’t get a loan to keep its business afloat. Mind you, Mr. Beef was a Chicago institution and it happened to be one of my favorite lunch spots.
I bought 40 million impressions with $350 dollars worth of sandwiches because that behavior made every news outlet in the city want to figure out why.
